We have a growing number of Advisory Boards and Committees. We encourage citizens who want to "give something back to the community" to volunteer, particularly when vacancies arise.

| Created in 2000, the ARB is a five member Board established to ensure high standards for the visual environment of the Town. The ARB generally meets at 7:30 pm on the fourth Wednesday of the month at the John Dunford Civic Center, 1360 Route 22, Brewster, NY 10509. | | The Historic Sites Commission consists of seven members appointed for seven-year terms. Meetings are held quarterly and as needed throughout the year. | | The Planning Board consists of seven members appointed by the Town Board. Meetings are held at the John Dunford Civic Center, 1360 Route 22. Planning Board meetings are generally held twice monthly, on the first and third Wednesday of the month.
