We have a growing number of Advisory Boards and Committees.  We encourage citizens who want to "give something back to the community" to volunteer, particularly when vacancies arise.

Description
Created in 2000, the ARB is a five member Board established to ensure high standards for the visual environment of the Town. The ARB generally meets at 7:30 pm on the fourth Wednesday of the month at the John Dunford Civic Center, 1360 Route 22, Brewster, NY 10509.
The Historic Sites Commission consists of seven members appointed for seven-year terms. Meetings are held quarterly and as needed throughout the year.
The Planning Board consists of seven members appointed by the Town Board. Meetings are held at the John Dunford Civic Center, 1360 Route 22. Planning Board meetings are generally held twice monthly, on the first and third Wednesday of the month. The meetings are open to the public.
The ZBA consists of seven members appointed by the Town Board. Meetings are held at the John Dunford Civic Center,1360 Route 22. ZBA meetings are generally held on the third Monday of the month. The meetings are open to the public.

Description
In 2004, the Town Board created the Tonetta Lake Advisory Committee to assist the Town in preserving and Improving the quality of Lake Tonetta.
The Town Board of the Town of Southeast is formed the Open Space Advisory Committee in order to assist the Town create and implement strategies which will protect undeveloped parcels of land.
