The Town of Southeast administers metered and permit parking at the Gold Lot located at 67 Main Street, Brewster, NY and the Southeast Train Station Lot located off Independence Way.
There is limited available daily parking at the "Gold Lot" for a $3.00 charge. There is an additional $2.00 charge for overnight parking. This is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
At the Southeast Train Station, there is metered parking at a cost of $2.00 per day. The meters will not operate until 8 quarters are deposited. The meters are usually all taken by 7:00 am. In addition, Metro North has an additional parking lot on the left of Independence Way, for daily parking fee of $2.75 payable as you enter that lot.
There is also permit parking at Southeast Train Station. At this time, there are no permits available, but there is a waiting list for applicants. To be placed on the list, you may call the Parking Enforcement Office at (845) 279-9164. When making your request, please include your name, home address (including zip code), and home and business telephone numbers (including the area code). The waiting list is constantly being updated and when you become eligible for a permit an application will be mailed to you. Please note that there is permit parking available at the Brewster Village Train Station. In order to obtain a permit, please contact the Village Parking Officer at Village Hall.
