Recreation Committee Meeting
June 13, 2007

The Committee reviewed site aerial photo. Keith gave his suggestions as to where the proposed Recreation/Senior center would be placed on the site based on topography and soil pictures.
Discussions ensued regarding other possible sites in town. It was determined there are no other sites in town that have the water/sewer hook-ups and fire protection plans in place. Other land tracts have wetlands issues and/or road improvement issues.
Extensive discussion followed with respect to potential usage, revenue generated from outside interests. Utilizations figures will be obtained from the school district. The Recreation Department will be providing office space necessities.
Results of the survey will be made available within the next month to the general public.
The next meeting has been scheduled for June 27, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at Lakeview Manor.
