Brewster Central School and North Salem School Districts
The Southeast Tax Receiver is responsible for the billing and collection of current Brewster Central School and North Salem Central School District Taxes.  Tax bills are mailed during first week of September.  If you do not receive a bill during the first week in September, please call our office immediately and we will issue a duplicate bill. The failure to mail a statement or the failure of a property owner to receive a statement will not affect the validity of the taxes or interest prescribed by law (New York State Real Property Law 922). This bill covers the period of July 1st thru June 30th and does not assume to cover prior or other taxes.

School Taxes are due September 30th of each year, penalty free or see below for additional payment options.  Payments must be in  the Tax Department on or before the due date, or have a valid U.S. post-marked on that day at the Post Office. In order to avoid any possibility of delay by mail, we suggest that if payment is to be made within the last few days of the month in which due, make certain that you witness a TIMELY OFFICAL UNITED STATES POSTMARK being affixed to the envelope. Meter marks are not acceptable.
