Meeting Information
The Southeast Town Board is comprised of the Supervisor and 4 Councilpersons each elected to four year terms. The Town Board usually holds its meetings and work sessions on Thursday evenings at 1360 Route 22, in the Court room. These meetings generally start at 7:30pm.
The Town Board meetings are either a Work Session or a Regular Town Board Meeting.
The Work Sessions are "working sessions" where Town matters are deliberated in an informal setting.
The Regular Town Board Meeting is when the Board will act on local laws, resolutions and formal town business.
An agenda is posted for these meetings, available to the public at Town Hall. The Regular Town Board meeting is televised. The local Channel 8 will broadcast the meeting several times during the weeks following the meeting.
At the end of each Regular Town Board Meeting there is a provision for New Business, at which time any resident in the audience may bring up an item for discussion. Any subject needing a more involved review can be put on a work session agenda.
