 Recyclable materials must be available for collection by 6:00AM. Newspapers, magazines, phone books, junk mail, corrugated cardboard and commingled recyclables (glass, cans and plastic) WILL BE PICKED UP ONCE A WEEK DEPENDING ON WHAT ZONE YOU LIVE IN.
Newspapers, magazines and other paper products may be commingled and tied with cord in bundles not higher than 10 inches. Corrugated cardboard must be broken down, cut, separated and bundled not higher than 10 inches and not wider than 36 inches in either direction; also tied with cord. The recycling pickup schedule will be observed during inclement weather.
Commingled recyclables, such as glass bottles, aluminum, tin and metal cans, foil and pie plates and plastic containers (number's 1, 2 and 3 as specified on containers only) should be rinsed. They can be commingled in clear or blue tinted recycling bags. Recycling bags are available at most local supermarkets.
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WILL NOT BE PICKED UP:
A. Any item not at the curb at 6:00AM;
B. Any item not packed correctly;
C. Batteries, paint, chemicals hazardous waste and construction/demolition debris.
