A message from Supervisor John Dunford As the newly elected Supervisor of the Town of Southeast, it is my pleasure to present our Recreation Program for 2004 to the residents of our community. The Recreation staff is always willing to assist you with questions as well as entertain suggestions to improve or expand program offerings. The Town Board and I are continuing to explore the possible ways to acquire additional ball fields. The In-line skating rinks slated to be built at the Lake Tonetta Town Park is moving forward along with continuous improvement to the Town Beach. The Recreation Department has increased the number of exercise/craft sessions for our Senior Citizens to every Wednesday of the month. These sessions are open to all Southeast Senior Citizens and offer the opportunity to socialize and make new friends. We are always pleased to subsidize the frequent and wonderful bus trips planned by the Southeast Senior Organization. The Day Camp at Wells Park, as well as our Culture Camp held at Lakeview Manor, continues to increase in popularity and attendance. In addition, the Recreation Department offers swimming lessons and many specialty camps for our Youth to enjoy.
